Summer is around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with a refreshing summer smoothie.

Smoothies are a must in anyones daily routine. These blended drinks are easy to make and they are packed with a variety of nutrients especially when you use Parmalat smooth yoghurt. So what’s not to love, you get to maintain a healthy lifestyle while enjoying a delicious and mouthwatering drink. Be sure to grab yourself some smooth yoghurt from Parmalat and get smoothing!
1.) CLASSIC BANAPPLE SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
Bananas
Red delicious Apples
Parmalat Smooth Banana yoghurt
Milk (optional)
Cooking and Preparation
Start by thoroughly washing your fruits.
Once your fruits have been washed off, make sure you peel them and chop them up into small to medium sized pieces.
Add your fruit pieces to a blender and add your Parmalat smooth banana yoghurt.
Once your yogurt and your fruits have been added to your blender make sure you blend on a medium speed. If you notice that your smoothie is too thick as you blend add in your milk, start with two tablespoons and increase from there if you have to.
Once your smoothie is the consistency you want, pour into a glass and serve chilled.

2.) DOUBLE BERRY SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
Strawberries
Blueberries
Parmalat Smooth Strawberry Yoghurt
Milk (optional)
Cooking and Preparation
Start by thoroughly washing your fruits.
Once your fruits have been washed off, make sure you remove the crown and stem of your strawberry.
Add your fruit to a blender and add your Parmalat smooth strawberry yoghurt.
Once your yogurt and your fruits have been added to your blender make sure you blend on a medium speed. If you notice that your smoothie is too thick as you blend add in your milk, start with two tablespoons and increase from there if you have to.
Once your smoothie is the consistency you want, pour into a glass and serve chilled.

3.) EVER GREEN SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
Kiwi
Pear
Spinach
Parmalat plain smooth yoghurt
Honey
Milk (optional)
Cooking and Preparation
Start by thoroughly washing your pears and spinach.
Once your fruit and vegetable have been washed off, chop them up into small to medium sized pieces.
Take the peel off the kiwi and dice into smaller pieces.
Add your fruits and vegetable to a blender and add your Parmalat smooth plain yoghurt.
Add some honey for extra sweetness.
Once your yogurt and your fruits have been added to your blender make sure you blend on a medium speed. If you notice that your smoothie is too thick as you blend add in your milk, start with two tablespoons and increase from there if you have to.
Once your smoothie is the consistency you want, pour into a glass and serve chilled.

4.) ISLAND SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
Pineapple
Nectarine
Parmalat smooth pineapple yoghurt
Cooking and Preparation
Start by thoroughly washing your nectarines.
Cut the nectarine in half and discard the seed. Chop into small pieces.
Remove the peel from your pineapple and chop it up into small to medium sized pieces.
Add your fruit pieces to a blender and add your Parmalat smooth pineapple yoghurt.
Once your yogurt and your fruits have been added to your blender make sure you blend on a medium speed. There will be no need to add any milk to this recipe as these fruits have a high water content.
Once your smoothie is the consistency you want, pour into a glass and serve chilled.
