STICKY PORK RIBS WITH RED WINE GLAZE

The best pork ribs you’ll ever have. This recipe will have your mouth watering and will have you licking your fingers over and over again!

Ingredients
Pork ribs
Nederburg Cabernet Sauvignon
BBQ spice
Garlic powder
Black pepper
Mixed herbs
White pepper
Chicken spice
Paprika
Tomato ketchup
Mild chutney
BBQ sauce
Brown sugar
Red wine vinegar
Olive oil
Sweet and sour sauce
Measurements
1/3 cup of wine
1 cup ketchup
1/4 chutney
1/4 BBQ sauce
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
2 tbd sweet and sour sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp black pepper (separate)
1 Tbsp BBQ spice
1 Tbsp chicken spice
1 Tbsp white pepper
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp paprika
Cooking and Preparation
Preheat oven to 200•C
Wash your ribs and pat dry with a paper towel.
In a bowl mix black pepper, bbq spice, chicken spice, paprika, white pepper, mixed herbs and garlic powder.
Apply the dry rub to your ribs, add olive oil and corn with foil.
Bake in foil for 1 hour.
While your ribs are cooking, make your wine sauce.
Add your wine and sugar to your saucepan and cook down the wine. Do this for about 5 minutes.
Once your wine has cooked down add your sauces, vinegar and black pepper.
Cook your sauce until everything is incorporated and the sauce thickens. Set aside
Remove your ribs from the oven and place them on an oven rack.
Baste your ribs with the red wine sauce and add back to the oven for about 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven, glaze your ribs with the remainder of the wine sauce and serve.
