HONEY BANANA CREPES

There are plenty of classic crepe recipes out there. But have you ever tried making crepes with soda water? Using soda water makes your crepes extremely light and airy!



INGREDIENTS

  • Butter

  • Flour

  • Sugar

  • Milk

  • Soda water

  • Eggs

  • Vanilla essence

  • Cinnamon

Measurements in this recipe are just a guide and can be adjusted.


MEASUREMENTS

  • 3 Tbsp butter

  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

  • 1 cup flour

  • 3 Tbsp sugar

  • 1/8 tspn salt

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup soda water

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla essence


COOKING AND PREPARATION

  1. Melt your butter in the microwave. Leave to cool for about 2 minutes.

  2. Add all your ingredients to a medium sized bowl and mix everything well. Make sure you sift the flour in order to get rid of lumps.

  3. Cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for 1 hour.

  4. Grease your nonstick pan with butter. Your stove should be on medium heat.

  5. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter and pour it in the center of your pan. If your pan is on the smaller side, pour 3 Tbsp.

  6. Cook the crepes for 1-2 minutes per side or until the top starts creating bubbles. Repeat until all the batter is done.

  7. Fill your cooked crepes with sliced bananas and drizzle honey over the crepes.
