GARLIC & HERB LAMB CHOPS

INGREDIENTS

  • Lamb chops

  • Garlic

  • Lemon

  • Butter

  • Olive oil

  • Dried Parsley

  • Dried Mixed herbs

  • Dried Origanum

  • Dried Thyme

  • Paprika

  • Black Pepper

  • Salt

  • Fresh thyme


COOKING & PREPARATION

  1. Wash your lamb and pat dry using a paper towel. Make sure you clean your meat thoroughly.

  2. Place your lamb in a large bowl and add; parsley, thyme, origanum, mixed herbs spice, black pepper, salt, garlic and fresh lemon juice. Only squeeze one half of a lemon.

  3. Mix everything together.

  4. On high heat, melt some butter.

  5. Once the butter is melted, add your lamb and some fresh thyme. Fry for 2 minutes each side.

  6. Transfer your lamb onto a roasting tray. Make sure you pour all the juices that accumulated when frying.

  7. Top with fresh thyme and roast for 45 minutes or until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.

  8. Rest for about 5-10 minutes before serving.

Lamb is a very soft and tender protein so meat tenderizer needed. Great for roasting, brazing or stewing!
